More worryingly, he asserted again that he truly believes it's very difficult to improve our squad...

Man, Levy must really have puled out all the stops when explaining his take on the pyramid to Nuno...

I get that he's not gonna come out and say "yeah we've got a lot of shite to shift and replace, a pub player would be an improvement on Sissoko..." but don't peddle Levy's party line bullshit, just say we are working on it and you don't want to talk about anything until it's official.

It's funny, we are the only club that ever trots out that line.
You never hear any of the other so called big boys saying its hard for them too improve their squad.
And they don't have Dier, Doherty, Winks and fucking Sissoko on the pay roll....

From Ally Gold:

Ndombele isn't always up for the fight. By his own admission to football.london during a recent interview, the player explained that he had told friends he wanted to leave the club just a few weeks into the tough first pre-season he had under Mauricio Pochettino.

Then a few months into the Mourinho era - before the end of his first season - he did ask to leave Tottenham, leading chairman Daniel Levy to hold a meeting with him to explain Spurs' position and also how much they believed in the player.

Now, having just become a father for the first time and the two friends who helped him settle in England set to move on, another challenge faces Ndombele and another new coach attempting to unlock his incredible potential.

Ndombele is understood to be considering his future once again this summer, although Tottenham would be loathed to give up on their club record signing just two seasons later, while recouping the big fee they paid in the current market would be difficult.

If he is really thinking of leaving for the 3rd time in 3 seasons we need to sell him ASAP

Difficult?
More like fecking impossible.
Best we could hope for would be a loan with an obligation to buy and keep our fingers crossed he gives a feck at the new club or a sale maybe £15-£25 mill??

He should have been gone last season, absolute drain on the soul of the club.
He's had chance after chance to sort himself out and here we are again with another pre-season where he isn't fit enough to do his job. I don't care if he's just had kids, there is always some excuse why he isn't fit enough.
We aren't going to recoup the money as nobody would touch him with a 10 foot pole now so just flog him cheap and get him out of the club.

Terrible attitude.

Can't believe we paid £50m and 200K a week. We've been scammed.

People knock Ndombele but credit to him, that's some biological achievement.

No point selling him as no club will buy him for the price we want.
Seems that maybe the player is homesick or maybe his mentality is really weak idk because he seems to get upset about a lot of things.
I think its time for him to knuckle down. Last season was decent actually for him. He's a unique special player.

Has he shown a glimmer of anything that would make you think he's going to knuckle down? He's lazy. He still can barely speak English and his best friends are about to be sold. He's finished.
