I am not one to start producing figures but base my views on what I see from watching every Spurs match. Ndombele is clearly class and I really like watching the way he keeps the ball in tight situations and glides past people. However he is not affecting the result as often as someone with his talent should. By that I mean goals and creating chances. He needs to do much more but I am hopeful that will come next season and I would stick with him. We have more problems than him and any replacement is a risk and another bedding in period.
You will never see as much of that with him being used in a Mourinho, reactive strategy, double pivot CM2.
We will not get the best of him playing the format and tactical approach we do 70% of the time. He’s much better as an 8 in a cm3.
Just look at Pogba at ManU, was one of the most productive midfielders in the PL prior, then Mourinho insisted on turning him from an 8 into a double pivot CM2 - and it's just not his forte.
