Best 45 mins was home v Enitracht, 1-1, unlucky not to win that one. Genuinely good football. But we went behind after 5 mins, their first attack of course, and they mullered a one on one just before half time.

I've never seen us in a cup competition quite like this season.

In LC there was the Coventry almost fiasco, and in the FA cup the 90 mins draw with Tamworth.

The luck seems to be holding - Bodo have a lot of injuries. We've avoided Athletic B and MUFC. In a one off final if we get there then anything can happen but if it's AB then I'd make them big favourites.

I'd say Qarabag was a bit more than lucked out. But the scoreline was a bit flattering. For 10 men, we did well. Of course the Dragusin brain fart was part of the performance.

AZ at home we also played well. Not a great opponent. Bottom half champo / top half League One material tbh, but we put them away.

you know that

1) what you're talking about has nothing to do with luck and
2) you would never give us that leeway and call it bad luck if we'd have lost while missing sitters we should have scored.

Fact is, they're the best team we've played but not very good, and we still served chances up on a plate for them.
I'd like to say "oh but we played so well in the first leg 2nd half" but I would be lying on the basis I passed out cold on about the 38 minute mark on the sofa from sheer fucking boredom.
Best hours sleep I've had in years to be fair, so thanks Ange.
 
Personally don’t give a toss if we haven’t played well in Europe, or have had an easy draw so far.
We have had easier draws before and failed, I was there all through the run in 83-84, can’t remember if we played well or not in the earlier rounds, and doesn’t matter, we lifted trophy.

Will anything change in respect of manager if we somehow win trophy, not particularly, he will go, won’t be remembered fondly whatever happens, we will still have the biggest problem left at club, Levy anyway.

So just going to forget about the rubbish season, and hopefully cheer us on to a trophy
