Kane makes clear in no uncertain terms that he will not sign a new contract and will leave Spurs next summer if not permitted to do so this summer. He wants out to fulfill trophy winning ambitions elsewhere.

New manager Arne Slot makes clear in no uncertain terms that Kane is central to his plans, and any replacement would have to be a top-of-market centerpiece to fulfill his tactical vision.

Manchester United table a bid for 80 million pounds.

What do you do?

Have to sell him. We can't let him walk on a free but I would understand if he did to say a big fuck you to levy

if we don't make CL we need to make sure we are out of top 7 so no european football that way we can get rid of the players not wanted as we won't have extra games where we need players, so we have a smaller squad that we can build on for season 24/25

Sell

We've been trying to sell players for 2 or 3 seasons now, we cannot sell players if there are no buyers.

I think Kane should be allowed to leave if he doesn't want to sign a new. Its counterproductive to force him to stay a season and then lose him on a free. We also need to give up this three at the back rubbish and be more adventurous. Three at the back with two holding players and using the wingbacks for creativity is a shocking strategy.

The rebuild will take course over two seasons, its impractical to get rid of 7-8 players in one window. I can see Kane exit 80m, Persic release, Moura release, Lloris release, Sanchez 15-20m and maybe a few others. The Kane fee should be re invested in quality and sensible signings.

United will likely keep DDG, which creates a real pathway for Raya. Maddison is a player we should be targeting. We already have good profile players to play a 4-3-3 or 4-1-2-3. The below team is a rough draft that involves only three signings, press resistant and quality throughout. Bentancur should be getting higher up the pitch, not sitting deep with Hojberg. Gundogen doesn't sit next to Rodri, he gets up the pitch, Xhaka doesn't sit next to Partey, he gets up the pitch. There should always be 2-3 passing targets in the final third that dont involve passing it back to the centre halfs on the halfway line

I agree - but this is part of the issue. The club needs to swallow up the financial loss and either keep loaning them out and subsidising the majority of their wages, or mutually terminate/fully pay up some of their contracts. Which they wont do, as the ENIC way is not to make losses nor admit mistakes.

Forster
Romero
Porro
Sess (1 more season off the bench)
Udogie
Skipp
Tanc
Biss
Kulu
Richy
Kane (but no more of this start every game and play every 90mins shit. We love him but needs to as accountable as any other squad member)

Those can stay. Son gets full respect but if the right offer came, let him go and win somewhere. If we get an offer of 90m+ for Kane and he wants to leave, let him go too.

Who knows what offers we received though.

Lo Celso could have gone for less than we want.

Spurs as a club prefer to stodge the market and hold players until they get the price they want and the players don’t care bc they are on Prem money

Spanish and Italian clubs have no money, they just want deals with option to buy or just a straight loan. A new manager might mean a new start for GLC.

If someone bought Kane now and gave him a 5 year contract, would he be worth £450 million? Not even close considering after 30 players decline much faster. Getting £90m for 1 year of remaining contract is unlikely unless the other side is desperate. We are more like to lose him on a free.

This will not be popular, but I would actually move on all three of Son, Kane and Lloris.

All great servants of the club. But when we talk about comfortable players we have to talk about these 3 just as much as we do the scapegoats. These are the 3 biggest names in the team and without a doubt the most comfortable in the squad.

It will sting and we won't be anywhere close to the league title for a while after. But Levy won't committ to a new project and a proper rebuild as long as Harry remains. As long as we have Harry Levy will think that he can wizard himself a league title.

There are other players that need to be moved on as well. But for the long term benefit of Spurs, the Harry Kane team must die.

Lol.

Nobody is going anywhere. We are already maxxed out on loan players nobody wants to buy.

European teams are bankrupt. Nobody is buying.

We will buy Lenglet becuase he is cheap.

We may cancel contract for Perisic.

Maybe Ndombele / Lo Celso will have a future under a new coach.

Front three that couldn't score their arses on barbed wire.
