Probably the best home half we've played this season. The way Ade is dropping in and Soldado moving to the channels makes our look very multiple. Not a true 4-4-2.

Many of us thought Paulinho was tired and it certainly seems to be the case. The three game rest seems to have done wonders. He's been irresistible so far today.

Also, big surprise we look way less open with more defensive midfielders available.

I like Eriksen on the left, lovely stuff.
Paulinho looks like that self imposed break has done him good, looks crazy fresh, first touch passing has been unreal, same with Soldado hopefully the finishing will come soon.
Also why does Paulinho always shoot vertically? He's like a Brazilian Leigh Halfpennyaulinhobored:

It looks very good with Eriksen coming in from left, would be even better with Rose or BAE at left back.

Good interplay with the superb movement today by Ade and Soldado.

A couple of myths we can put to rest then. One being Eriksen is wasted playing from the left and two being Paulinho is a defensive midfielder. Also nice to see Soldado well on track for 20 goals this season and he's yet to hit top form. Would like to see Lamela on for Lennon at HT.

Loving the whole soldado Dirksen ade Pauli flicks that have been going on throughout that half. Makes such a difference when we are passing one touch quick and direct. We have the players to do it and it creates sooooo much space. Loving this half.
