Or you could concentrate on the positives - Gray and then Redmond, Hughes, Ward Prowse and Pickford among others have all been excellent against the tournament favourites

I could and I agree with you on those players, but I'm extremely disappointed with Baker this tournament. He's been hyped to no end, and has shown nothing. Swift was fantastic against Poland but was left on the bench today so Baker could do nothing.

Rashford, Roberts, Loftus-Cheek, Alli, Brown, Onomah, Winks, Solanke (who I don't rate), Stones, Sterling, Dier, Shaw (who is a weirdo). All eligible to play for U21's but not playing tonight. Not a bad fucking bunch. Hard to gage on a World Wide stage but for European International teams I can only see France and Spain with a better potential squad. Biggest challenge is the level of competitive game time that these players get at their clubs. For me Rashford should have played as he hardly plays for his club and is behind all attacking AM's and Strikers, same goes for Loftus-Cheek, Shaw.

England gave a good account of themselves.

Roll on the U19s and Marcus Edwards to light it up.
Really? I thought they were bang average.
From kick offs seem to start well and then sit back.
Never enough bodies going forward either. Always too far apart.
Didn't do much against Sweden lucky to come away with a draw.
Were also bad against Slovakia and won down to a substitution really.
Only decent showing was against Poland who never won a game.

Germany too.

Werner, Sane and a host of talent currently playing in the Confederations Cup all eligible for U21s.

Says it all when Spains u21 right back has more Prem experience than alot of the English u21 players.
