I've been saving and working for the last few years and I'm now in a position where I could feasibly pay for myself to go out to Madrid, but obviously with no guarantee of a ticket and he wouldn't be able to come. I love the idea of going out there, and to be able to say "I was there". However, I live in Tottenham, 5 mins from the stadium and I imagine the atmosphere here will be unreal too, and I can throw a party for friends afterwards. Also, getting to Madrid will be painful and also if we do lose it'll be super depressing and lonely.

Do I?
A) Be selfish, spend £1000+ to go to Madrid for a "once in a lifetime" trip
B) Enjoy Tottenham, save a bundle of cash and enjoy the game with my friends

Friends, who aren't Spurs fans are all saying "A". But people with a bit more perspective agree with B.

What do I do????

Was thinking the same thing... I know watching it on big screens overlooking an empty pitch would be weird, but it really IS a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I'm SURE they'd pack the South Stand at the VERY least!!
I remember quite a few years ago they tried it for an away game vs. Middlesbrough... they opened up the Paxton/East lower I think...
It WAS strange to 'watch a game' with no one actually ON the pitch, but as an experiment, it certainly worked!

...and THINK OF THE EXTRA REVENUE DANIEL!!! :levylol:

I have just read through this match thread from the 2nd half onwards,most amusing :)

My night nearly never happened. The sky went down before the match and we though that was it.
Only came back on when the players were walking onto the pitch.

Was pissed off mightily when I discovered the final was in June earlier in the year. I still don't like that it's not on a Wednesday. But that 3 and a half week gap is going to benefit us hugely (and Liverpool).

Kane and Aurier I expect to be back. Winks would be a bonus.
 
Glad to say I finally got this going properly in the Brickies last night...
Luckily Lucas ALSO did his bit x3 to make sure it got several airings throughout the night!
