He's been very good from what I've seen. Dominated Paqueta and their other CMs almost every time. Passed between the lines as well.

When we get the ball forward quickly we look so dangerous. So why do our players dawdle and slow down so often?

Romero, Bentancur and Bissouma have played far too many sideways ball, so many that Maddison is having to come all the way back to receive the ball.

Fucking sideways is how we play no one wants to hit a pass longer than 5 yards or get the ball out wide quickly. Number of times both Timo and bj been on the touchline in space but the players just keep passing in the middle.

Absolutely sick of conceding the same goal over and over because these defenders don’t know how to clear out a forward in front of our keeper on a corner.

To be fair, seems like we're now lining up with no marker around the opposition player on the goalkeeper, which we have been doing previously, so Vic has obviously said he doesn't want a crowded situation around him. But in that case he has to take responsibility and deal with it himself.

Fact is unfortunately he's a bit of a flapper, teams sniff blood and think they can get at it him at corners, and the defence can't have confidence in him and focus on their own tasks. And for us fans you're in panic every time we concede a corner.

We were being far more adventurous from the start, but after they scored, the sideways/backwards passing crept back in.
