Well realistically a team can not replace more than 4-5 players in a year without massively upsetting the tema chemistry

So either we have to sell those with the highest value or the worst performers

Either way I think Aurier, Winks, Moura (90% of his games are shit nowadays yet holds some value), Dele...

Yet let's be honest, aside from Son/Kane, none of our players would be even difficult to replace.
Good thing we have no chemistry left to ruin.

Surprised so many are putting Lucas on the to sell list. Do I think we should keep him long term? No, probably not. But he has arguably been one of our best players this season, and I would rather sell Stevie or a whole bunch of other players before selling Lucas.

Should be a much shorter thread
Which players should stay?

but ok

Aurier
Winks
Skipp (sadly he ain’t going to make it)
Lamela
Toby
Jan
Dier
All three keepers

We must appoint a decent DOF

Don't ever, ever, ever in the future ever sign a player who is French, speaks French or has used French letters, or been on holiday in France.

Bring back Kane and son, watch the lift...
Except that no matter how many goals they might score, our sieve at the back will give away more. Jose has to start at the back and fix the holes there .
It's not a question of winning games, it's more a question of not giving them away. We have to start by plugging the holes.

The get the fuck out of the club immediately list:
Doherty
Davies
Winks

The not good enough so please leave soon list:
Dier
Dele
Sanchez

The not good enough and need to do something quick list:
Bergwijn
Lo Celso

Tbf everyone has to fucking improve.

-Kane: 75+ million
-Lo Celso: 30+ million
-Dele: 20-30 million
-Dier: 15-20 million
-Winks: 10-15 million

There's your 150+ million

Obviously there's more that need to go but we can't get rid of everyone.
Kane 150 million
Locelso 50 million
Dele 60 million
Dier 50 million
Winks 40 million

Thats actually 350 million. 150 for Conte and Levy gets to keep 200 to pay the stadium. Levynomics!

I honestly just feel like we need to completely rebuild. Maybe I'm throwing out the baby with the bathwater, but I just can't help but think that this is not a matter of just changing out 2-3 players and we'll be back on the right path. This would need to be a wholesale change at this point.

The only two that I would MAYBE limit that to would be Kane and Son, just based upon sheer talent and heart they bring to the side. I could maybe make a case, maybe not convincing enough one for most people, that we just cut our losses and use them to rebuild.

I just feel like the team that we have come to love and appreciate so much is over. It's like owning a car that you have loved, but the repairs are so extensive that you may just need to cash it in and get something new.

There's others who are worse and probably need to go before him than him so it's strange you're singling him out.

Despite his faults we know he is quick and can go past players and can track back, maybe Conte can turn him into a Victor Moses, who knows.
Igula Igula has always had a hatred for Lucas. Out of all the issues with our squad, Lucas is way at the bottom of it.

He adds pace, is always looking to attack, puts a shift in with pressing and tracking back and he never complains when he is used for cups or Europa league games. Perfect squad player for a club that will not pay excessive wages to backups.

Dele, Winks, Doherty, Bergwijn, Ndombele, Sanchez, Doherty, Sanchez, Davies are all players who considered to be listed to sell way before Lucas.

Dele, Winks, Toby, Hugo, Verts (love him but his legs are done).
Aurier can stay as a bench option, and Sess is still 19 so I'm willing to give him 1 or 2 more seasons.
