But for real, despite being American I can't fault him for the choice he made. Have you read about any of his upbringing? Kid was under relentless pressure from his family to choose Italy, they even packed him up and sent him there to an academy for his developmental years.

Bertrand would be perfect........ he's as good as Danny Rose IMO, perhaps better offensively but weaker as a defender. Mourinho would never sell to us though..
There's a big difference now that people are failing to mention, AVB is gone. Mourinho no longer has any personal grounds for sticking it to us. It's at least worth testing out with an offer, if for no other reason for the club to discern whether or not Mourinho's stance has changed.
