The media obsession with Arteta is really strange.
They are 16th in shots per match and 13th in xG per match.
Most matches they look fairly incapable of doing anything dangerous with the ball (sure they may have it but that is different than generating scoring chances). They also frequently sit extremely deep and try and play teams on the counter since they can't generate chances via possession.
Imagine if Jose was coaching them and they were playing this toothless football and sitting 9th in the table, they media would be calling him a dinosaur that the game has passed by.
