Match Crystal Palace v. Tottenham Hotspur - Sunday, December 13, 2:15 PM GMT

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I do not think we sat back after our goal and invited Palace. We were simply poor in transition and lost too many balls due to sloppy passings or Palace pressing.
With or without the ball, we committed more players up the pitch than say Gooners or City games

I’m not disagreeing but it doesn’t matter that much what other teams do (unless they go on a 10 game win streak). We just have to focus on getting results.
Of course, as long as we are first on the table, it's technically all in our hands. I'd rather that be the case than not.

However, it's very discouraging how we didn't take advantage of this opportunity. What will we do next time? Last time Liverpool dropped points, so did we.

We're only 5 points ahead of 8th place Man U, who still have a game in hand. If we lose against Liverpool, we could drop as low as 5th.

I can't bring myself to celebrate Liverpool's fuck up too much.

SPOILER:

We will drop points again this season.

SPOILER:

So will other teams....

Compelling game this, isn't it. :)

Our problem is we can not get ndombele and le celso in the same team as it upsets the balance of the team, thus jose rotates them.

If we come thru the christmas period unscathed, we need a someone alongside PEH, i would look at sanson, from marseille.

We have the making of a good, balanced side, but a sanson type of player, will give us the brains in the middle of the park, and really knit the midfield and attack and help us keep the ball better, unfortunately it means getting rid of Dele and Winks and probably next summer sissoko, when skipp comesback.

Palace are a good team, and the addition of Eze, was a brillant buy, as now they have someone who knits, midfield to attack.

They have good attacking full backs, and a midfiled centre in mcarthy and Milo.

True, we need a real partner for PEH, someone tall, physical (since we concede so many set pieces and Toby isn't a big presence in the box), but someone who can also play. At the moment I feel PEH is virtuoso artist trying to jam with a drunk air guitarist. There's no rythm or harmony.

On balance though I think the difference was Guaita. We created some golden opportunities. Whereas theirs were scrambles in the box off set pieces.

Apparently it doesn’t effect them.
And when we beat Liverpool the only reaction will be “imagine if we beat Palace and West Ham and Newcastle”

Mostly by people who claimed Jose hadn’t improved us and we were better off in 14th
It's disappointing to drop 2 points. However, why are many of us are so defeatist? We're still top of the league, and our rivals are dropping points to even worse oppositions, and in worse manners.

I don't think it's healthy to be as deluded as Dippers fans, but look how they always make positive about their chance of winning thing even in darkest days. They claim trophies beforehand, even those trophies that they end up not winning. Here we have people throwing the towel at every less than ideal result.

Spot on.

The manager doesn't pass the ball. That's down to the players. If you keep coughing up possession, it becomes really hard to bring the team up the pitch. If some of those passes were on point, we could have really hurt them on the break.

Palace away is always a tough game. They offer a threat on the counter and by playing direct to Benteke. I also feel that the fans played a huge part in the game. That's our first game in front of away support for a while and it sounded like there were a lot more than 2000 there.

We slate Dippers for their support.
Pretty ironic really
