Agree, he looked like he was carrying a niggle, not match fit and not training - and it transpired he was.

As above, he would do ok in our current set up where he’s not asked to play as a wing back

He still hit an awful shocking cross.

And in fact most of the time its easier to play in a cross just hitting it first time.

His performances are embarrassing and I'm convinced some of the groundsmen could just play at RB over him and we wouldn't notice a difference

I don’t know what’s the matter with him, he’s absolutely shocking and whilst I admit I haven’t seen him play for Wolves, I heard he was better. I could understand if he was shit when defending as he was a RWB at Wolves, but he’s fucking awful even in attack.

I think it is pretty clear that he is a wingback and an wingback only.

Wolves fans loved him when in that role and I have heard them wanting him back. When he plays in the same role for Ireland, I have heard positive things about him as well.

I think he simply can't make the transition to FB and unfortunately trying to has seemed to take away his attacking tendencies that made him so good for Wolves and in the first game he played for us against Everton.
