No, they refused to meet if the agenda was controlled by Spurs and did not include discussing the boards positions.

I can only assume the agenda is now open.

"We refuse to meet until the board resigns" - that's from their own statement, where did your version of the facts come from?

Not saying that the agenda wasn't another demand but no question the ridiculous demand that "the board resigns" was just plain daft, luckily they've dropped that demand and are getting on with a meeting.

Tottenham Hotspur’s home game against Aston Villa on Wednesday 19 May is the first match fans can attend in significant numbers for over a year. And much has happened in that year.
We know fans want to make their feelings clear about recent events, and about the current direction of the Club. We believe it is important to show our feelings in a positive, unifying way that helps build the solutions we need to achieve real change. And so we will be asking you to support our call to #StandUpForSpurs and to put Fans and Football First.

What does this mean? It means securing a genuine voice for fans at the heart of the Club’s decision-making process. One that will ensure success on the pitch is always our Club’s prime objective, and that the balance between business and sporting success is right.

Does this mean we want fans to pick the team or negotiate transfers? No, it doesn’t. But we do want the professionals our Club employs to be given the backing to deliver sporting success. And we do want direct influence over key decisions such as where our Club plays, what its name and colours are, and what competitions it plays in.

In the wake of recent fan unrest, the Club has offered something it has never even agreed to discuss before. A fan representative on the Board. We welcome this. But it needs to be more than just a token position that can be outvoted every time.

We are currently working with the government and the football authorities to deliver a system that gives fans power and responsibility at Board level at every club. A system that helps make our clubs sporting institutions, not just investments, once again.

We need you to join us to boost the message that future success can only come by putting Fans and Football First. We’ve seen the result of not doing that – we almost lost the game we love. This is our game and our Club and we must have a genuine voice in how it is run.

On Wednesday, we will be at the stadium with banners and flags carrying our message. We will be leafleting match-going fans to provide information about what we are asking for. And we will be filming an open letter from supporters to our Club. If you’d like to participate in the film, please read the flyer below and email [email protected] for more details.

Please be respectful of COVID regulations and ensure not to gather in groups of more than 30 outdoors.

We’ve seen fans can make our voices heard, but we need to use our voices to be listened to. Join us from 3pm at the stadium to show your support.

So... The Trust were offered 2 meetings with the club and declined both as they wanted to set the agenda.

They then meet the club and it's a total waste of time.

Well done! :coys:
