No, because it's a difference if you are 18 or 30. From 16-21 is the phase you go from being a school child to adult life. The life of a 22 year old is very different to the life of a 18 year old.. When you are 30 and 37 the life phases are not that far apart. Both people are "settled" adults then (most of the time).
I get that, but not all 18 year olds (those that are genuinely 18) should be judged exactly the same. I look younger than I am and have always attracted people years younger than myself, and often they have been far more sensible and wise than myself. But my original point is only that if other people lie and it comes back to bite you in the ass, then I don't think that's entirely fair.
They call them developmental mile stones 12 to 21 is chock full of them 30_37 not some much. Its just how humans mature

Fair point. It's all a bit vague at the moment and in the case of what you're saying there about messages - who the hell knows. He could have slid into someone's DMs (aware of their age or otherwise) and then the mess ensued from there.
