Match EFL Cup - Wolves vs Tottenham - Wed, Sep 22 19:45 BST

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We battered them for the first 30/40 minutes, but then started strolling around, and their tails went up once they scored. We need to be able to move up a gear when required.
Suppose should be happy we're through and although away, we could have had a much tougher tie for the next round. COYS
What we need to do is somehow learn how to keep pocessiom.wjen we want to ease of the gas and keep teams at arms length. We can’t play on the front foot for the whole 90 minutes. So we need to be able to switch gear but without giving the oppo any encouragement of being able to get back into the game. Best way is to keep the ball like in the old days and keep the crowd quiet. We saw what happened at CP and today when you let teams drive at you the crowd pick up and all of a sudden from being conforabtle we are hanging on. Learnt to play the ball around better and control the game.

Have to be starting Gil and Son with Kane in the lead looked so much better with two actual pacey players around him.

Ndombele looked good despite losing the ball but agree he needs a Skipp and a Hojberg around him to cover him but I'm willing to accept mistakes when he's doing stuff the other end

Despite it being technically a draw fair to say that's the best we have played attacking wise all season

Need to batter the scum next week and we can get some momentum going in the league

Verdict:

Skipp.... Gil..... Japh....

The kids are alright!!!

Bring Sarr back in January and let's push forward!!! 👊👊👊

Other take-aways.....

- Ndombele cannot be trusted defensively in any capacity... Play him the same way Jose did and stick PEH & Skipp behind him.
- Gio is just as crap without the ball now as Ndombele and seems to be playing to avoid injury... The hustle & bite that was there when he first arrived is nowhere to be seen.
- Kane looked a bit hungrier tonight.... Hopefully he'll bring even more sharpness come the weekend.
- Maybe it's just me, but I hate leaving experienced pen takers at the back of the queue..... If things had gone differently, Sonny wouldn't even have got to take his!

Right in the far corner, entrance J10. I had to sit for most of the second half, not conditioned to stand for 90 minutes any more:)
Ah yes it's the only down side of away games having to stand all game.

I was 3 blocks in from you. J7. Nearer the front so could afford to sit a little.

Mind you the wolves players spent so long injured I probably spent more time sitting waiting for the game to restart than standing.
