Levy has just about ruined the club since firing Poch. His crap decision making since then makes him and his past decisions look far more lucky than good. The board need to reevaluate his leadership and find someone else or some other body to set strategy and appoint managers.

I don't know if ENIC and the board are capable of this, and maybe it's new ownership that is needed.

It's not about sacking Poch

It's about his dealmaking and inability to move on from players when they're on the decline or have reached their peak

Eriksen, Dele, Kane. Between the three of them, we've probably lost out on well over a hundred million at their peak values.

That money could have been used to reinvest but no, the cunt was and still is too stubborn and greedy

He (same as Lewis) isn't going anywhere. Not unless someone wants to come in and buy us for a ridiculous amount.

The richest people in the world just wanted to buy a club and they chose Newcastle. We know what Levy is like when it comes to selling players, he and Lewis would want silly money to sell the club.

I don't think there is anything fans can do to get rid of this cunt. Maybe if we got relegated, some sort of change will be triggered. But I'm not sold on accelerationism.

The best we can hope for is Levy gets lucky again and finds a good manager, but actually has the brain to back him fully. Now sack Nuno you bald cunt, get the ball rolling and give me a bit of false hope.

Too true...as tough as it is selling what are perceived as star players, there is an art in knowing when to cash in.
The key is having that replacement lined up and reinvesting wisely.
We just lack any sort of coherent recruitment strategy in that sense

Alderweireld and Dier as well. Winks is worth zilch now as well.

Penny wise, pound foolish.

Now the majority of those players didn’t die a hero, they lived long enough to become a villain.

The most progressive clubs have this down to an art form. Leipzig, Napoli, Atletico, Dortmund, Leicester. Even Chelsea.

All well-run football clubs and businesses.

This is the irony of this all. We all say that as a club Spurs are run by Levy and Lewis like a business. But they are so focussed on squeezing the pennies out of the fans that they are completely ignoring and mismanaging the footballing operations.

They're leaving millions on the table through poor recruitment & terrible decision making about when to move certain players on.

We are a money spinner to ENIC, who milk us fans, but the irony is that as a club we could be making a lot more money if we were better run footballing-wise

Penny wise pound foolish is the term.

Trying to keep my spirits up by re-watching Watergate, where an ugly cunt face bastard walks before he's kicked out, with millions demanding his resignation

Time to go cunt

20 years i/c

2 good managerial appointments

bye bye slaphead

Yup. Their most profitable year was the year we reached the CL final. Their biggest revenue leap (% wise) was 2011 when Redknapp got us to the CL QFs

They have no concept of speculate to accumulate either. Everything is reactive, and trying to cut corners.

Agreed. They hit the jackpot with Poch. Not by skill but luck, as their track record for managers demonstrates.
He got us punching above our weight and unlocked CL revenue.
Money breeds money and we had the chance to consolidate this position. We blew it.
Sigh

They have no concept of speculate to accumulate - er.... That is literally their model! The problem is they still don't understand football.
