Bit of a war of attrition today, but not a bad point. In context if we had lost Conte’s first league game and headed into the break off the back of another defeat it would have been much harder than having a platform, which is 2 games. No defeats & clean sheet today. An ok home match to come next. Seen plenty of Spurs teams do a lot worse at Everton in the past.

One observation about Everton’s fans. As a collective they do not seem to have any idea at all about football. Baying for blood on stuff that is routine is not a good look.
Scouse fans always whinge. In their whiny, phlegmy moany voices.

I don't know how they're so pale and pasty either do they use parasoles year round or suttin ffs

Poor enough vs a bad Everton side. Kane and Son both underwhelming, Kane's mobility a massive concern. Skipp, Emerson and CB's decent. Reguilon poor. Lloris good. Lots of work for Conte, several new starters required. Hopefully Sessegnon can get fit and make himself useful. Though they worked hard and did a few bits, you're not going far with a Skipp/Hojbjerg midfield.

When is a manager going to grow a pair and take off Kane? he offers absolutely nothing. Compare his performance leading our line to Richarlisons today. Richarlison was all over our defenders like a rash, hurrying them up, making them kick it anywhere, throwing his body in and running into the channels to offer an out ball for his team. Kane waddled about like a duck and when he did get it it either bounced straight off him or he passed it straight to a blue shirt.
Who can he put in? We have no one to replace him with. January can't come soon enough...

I can't stand the sight of the bloke at the moment. The problem is there are no other options.

Hojberg for his brilliance needs to know that he doesn't need to pass back, if only we can teach him to execute a Cruyff turn, it adds a dimension to his game. That said needless to say yet another game from Mr Consistent

The midfield lacks creativity and they failed to exploit the gaps, both the CM needs some guidance to pull players out of positon, Skipp is not providing any option for his teammate. Davies provided much urgency than both of them. Spurs were simply out of idea here EVEN ndombele was disappointing w his exaggerated stepover

Hopefully Conte can identify the right people and keep things up, blunt at attack.
