Spurs/PL announced retained and released lists at the end of May in 2021, so time to speculate !

Firstly our possible First Year Academy for 2022/23 :

Carey Bloedorn (GK) - u18 Bench yesterday
Elliot Krasniqi, (GK) - regular on u18 bench
Maeson King (Defender) - His Instagram says Spurs u16 ,
Pele Arganese-McDermott (Defender) - Signed from Luton last year, but no recent sightings
Jayden Meghoma, (Defender) - played for u18's in Feb
Archie Chapman (Defender) - regular u18 player recently
Leo Black (Midfielder) - on u18 bench yesterday
Gabriel Willhroft-King (Defender/Midfield) - Played for u18's in Feb.
Riley Cooper (Midfielder) - Played for E youth listed as Tottenham
Sam Amo-Ameyaw (AM) - regular for Spurs u18
Tyrese Hall (AM) - Has played for Spurs u18's
Oliver Irow (Striker) - regular scorer for Spurs u16

So that's our likely 12 players for next years Academy, all but two of which have recent links to Spurs, so still a chance for a couple of changes ?

Next up, is our Academy Year 2 - who stays to join with Spurs u23's on a pro contract and who will probably be released :

Aaron Maguire (GK) - retained, frequent u18 player
Adam Hayton (GK) - retained frequent u18 player

Jordan Hackett (LB/CB) - retained, frequent u18 player
Jez Davies (utility) - retained despite frequent injuries ? Plays when fit
Charlie Sayers (CB) - retained, frequent u18 player
Oliver Turner (LB) - Released, minimal playing time in u18's

Alfie Devine (Mid) - retained, likely to play first team and u23's ?
Dante Cassanova (Mid) - Released, has rarely played in 2nd half of season
Khalon Haysman (Mid) - Releaed, has not played for months

Roshaun Mathurin (Winger) - Retained despite injured most of this season
Renaldo Torraj (Winger) - 50/50 on retained/released. Capable of being very good but also as being anonymous ?

Dane Scarlett (Striker) - Retained

So that's 3 or 4 to be released, and 8 or 9 to be retained.

How come that Spurs' u-18 players look like they've just entered puberty .... while African u-18 look like they're in their 30s... 🤔

Usually a proportion of protein in diet and calcium.

The famous “Rooney” effect, is from eating very high quantities of “high power meats”, usually making you look 60 by 30:

Is Meghoma a common name in North London? Was seem to perpetually have one coming through…

No real surprises in the team - except less u16's involved (maybe school/GCSE's etc) - and Cassanova being picked but perhaps a courtesy to the player to allow scouts to see him in action to help him get a contract elsewhere ? Really not sure he's good enough to stay at Spurs with a pro contract

Our duty of care to players leaving feels more pronounced than our strategy for potential first teamers
