The anti Levy brigade love a poll. Time after time they do poll after poll after poll to try and "prove" that they're right.
They can't accept the results of the previous x amount of polls and desperately try again and again to get the overwhelming majority to agree with them.

There was even a poll asking if you supported Kane (when he wanted to leave) or Levy.
When people asked for a "support the club" option, they were told " No, you must be a Levy fan".

And these are supposed to be "moderates".

The same "moderates" who, even now, can't bring themselves to say "Well done Levy, should of happened before, but well done".

The same moderates who have to go to chiropractors now due to the amount of twisting they are having to do.

:harrylol::harrylol::harrylol:

So for ‘Moderates’ you can read ‘Remoaners’ then?

Enic putting 150m in is a good thing at any time, especially as it's not a loan.
What we do with it afterwards is a separate issue.

As you say they won't go back on it, that would be stupidity on the highest level.

We've had nothing like this before from Enic, ever.

It's all banter anyway and not to be taken seriously by either side.
One side trolls, the other side replies and around and around we go.

Starring stevee stevee as ‘Dylan’

Yes I was a fan!!

It's a very welcome development.
But I am not suddenly becoming their biggest fans. We will see.
To be fair, I think I was one of the first to question this ??🤷🤷🤷

Not to put too much of a downer on things, but isn't that pretty much what they gave Jose to spend and look at what happened there.

There's still a lot of questions ;

Is it 150m for players only ?
Is it 150m plus sales ?
Is it 150m plus sales plus what we had budgeted anyway ?
Is it for transfer fees only ?
Is it for wages ?
Is it to buy the lads we have on loan ?
Is it for signing on fees for "free" players ?

So many questions which we'll only find the answer to in time.

Don't show John or Scott this post as they'll try to claim the credit for it and say it woz dem all along

It's not just about the money, it's also about getting deals done as early as possible not haggling every single penny until the last few hours of the window.

This summer more than most, signings need to be made as quickly as possible. The World Cup starts in November, don't want players coming in late in August especially those new to the PL. They take time to settle in so the sooner they're a part of the squad and up to speed, the better.

Identify a target, find out the price, pay it, get it done.

I get your point and agree with most it, but there is no way any club will just pay the price being asked.

You've been totally vindicated because we made top 4 by 2 points and there's been some positive noises about transfers?

How about a trophy?
Exactly. We have said they won’t ever take us to the next level & turn us in to regular winners of trophies. Not that we will never achieve top 4 again under them. They are an odd bunch.
As far as I am aware we still aren’t winning trophies & top 4 is our trophy & everything.

Season starts early this year too so preseason is shorter.

It's like forgiving a violent abusive partner because one day they said they were gonna stop doing it.
It'll take a long time to rebuild that trust. If it ever even happens
That's a pretty good analogy actually. Brings us back to the Stockholm syndrome debate.
Like being held in a dark basement for 2 decades then your captor moves you to a nicer room with window to the outside world....

You suddenly feel liberated and free as your inexplicable appreciation and love for your captor suddenly seems to become even more justified.

But as Furball man Furball man rightly said, all this tit for tat is futile at this point. Every one on here can claim the moral high ground by twisting things in their favour, while nobody on here can claim the moral high ground WITHOUT twisting things their way.

Let's see how the summer plays out and hopefully we can all go into the new season with more optimism than any time yet this century.

Really don't get some of the ridiculous animosity. Why is everything so fucking black and white with some people.

1. Criticise Levy and co where criticism is deserved (and there have been many instances and reasons where it has been).

2. Praise them where praise is merited (and there have been many instances and reasons where praise has been deserved).

It's not about (or should not be about) being pro or anti Enic. You can be pro-Enic and still criticise them, and you can be Levy/Enic out and still give praise where it is due.

And that's the bottom line coz wrestler goat said so.

Agreed . If M’Bappe isn’t with us come August , I’ll do an Archways on the gaff

That’s what the Dippers have always been good at and the earlier the deals get done the more time Conte had to work with them
