He was 1-3 in fights against Leonard, Hagler, and Hearns. Duran was definitely great, but it's definitely contentious to say he's the greatest of the 4.

Anyway, back to Klopp I think he's a great manager obviously. But it'd be silly for anyone to consider him the greatest.
Exactly. We never said he wasn't great, but I have never heard any boxing historian claim he was above the other three by any metric.

He's so good at getting all the attention to himself. Fucking drama king. Just fuck off out of this league after this season. I won't be surprised if he reprises his role back to Liverpool in another dramatic fashion in the future and charming everyone again.

He's obviously hedging his bets and will wait and see who the new manager is.

Could be a massive sea change at Liverpool, Klopp was holding a lot together there.

Toodles

Let's not kid ourselves, Liverpool are even making a documentary. This is the last dance, Van Dijk, Salah, and Klopp are goooooone in the summer. TAA probably extends his contract and the new manager has to figure out how to use a player that is unbelievably specialist to one type of football.

Trent really isn’t THAT specialist. Ange would do great things with him as well. Lots of modern, progressive coaches are utilising full-backs who tuck in to midfield and are the sides primary creative fulcrum.

He will be fine. He’s positionally suspect and a 1v1 specialist makes him look silly but he’s a special player technically and worth the downsides.

Ange is a pretty specialist coach too.

How many coaches outside Klopp and Ange would have got a tune out of TAA and Porro? Porro you can argue has massively improved his 1v1 defending and is growing into a good defender so maybe more coaches would.

But TAA you can't bring in any coach and expect it to work.

Porro was pretty stand-out at Sporting. I know they played a 5 back but I think most good, progressive coaches can get the best out of technically very good full-backs these days.

The people running Liverpool aren’t fools. They’ll be looking for an easy transition and a coach who plays a similar style, they won’t go and hire Simeone.

If I was a Liverpool fan I’d be more worried about a couple of their world-class players who are their fulcrums but are ageing. You’re reaching the cash-out or hope they don’t decline early stage which is a guessing game.

32 and on borrowed time physically......... I can't see anyone paying big money for him now.......

Wouldn't suprise me if from a club perspective they just tried to give him one more deal before him calling it quits.

To be fair, he's looked back to his best this year. Monstrous for the and one of the reasons they are top of the table.

Could definitely see PSG spending big on him to try and conquer Europe.
