Even a couple of seasons ago I'd have said he's the only attacking player in our squad who isn't selfish. Who would pass to his teammate in a 1 v 2 situation. Not anymore.
I know goals are important for individuals but assists can and should be equally rewarding. Really pissed me off how he chose to ignore easy passes to play Bergwijn and Son in yesterday.

He has scored some very important goals in his time. I can understand peoples frustration with him, but when he is out there he is always going 100%

If I’m looking at Dele and Lamela, I think Dele is a bit more skillful, but Lamela plays a lot harder all the time. In a situation where we have to keep one, I’d rather have Lamela. At least we know he won’t half ass it out there.
