Well if me “undermining” him leads to trophies then I’ll keep undermining him at all costs! So you &others can continue to undermine him!
Some fan you are!

It is when we are missing every midfielder who can hold onto a ball...For me there's a huge unresolved question in all of this.
Has Ange changed? Is bunkering in with a lead something we do now?
But back then the European Cup didn't have 167* teams in it, which is why the UEFA Cup was 'hard to win'.Ask any player what they would prefer and you'll get the answer.
In case you didn't know, it's far tougher to get into a CL final than to win the EL.
Bodø-Glimt were in the EL ...because they lost to Red Star in last CL qualification round. Red Star didn't make it out of the CL group stage.
Besides, your logic is based on wrong assumptions: when Spurs won the UEFA the previous times the UEFA was actually considered almost hard to win as the then European cup. So winning the UEFA back then was much more of an achievement than now.
Sorry, I read this as rival fans that you were mates or acquaintances with, who absolutely bantered us after losing that game.Read my post before having a go as I was referring to the fans that I’m acquainted with so it wasn’t those same fans who bantered us
Maybe the sort of company you keep?
Just to be clear in no way am I downplaying last night’s result
It was brilliant
Scrappy game with two poor sides but the result was all that mattered and we got over the line!
That night will go down in spurs history - but if you ask them today, which one is the greater achievement, getting to and losing the CL final or winning the europa league last night - id be very interested to hear their point of view.
my point isn't that the former is not some kind of achievement, it's that it is not a greater one than winning something.
Let me ask you this.
If arnsel had beaten PSG and gotten to, and lost the CL final, would you see that as a greater achievement than us winning the europa?
And Eintracht Frankfurt.
How will I cope! Lots of long term genuine Spurs fans were though. Not just dozy opportunists like yourself
Its a major win for the club and all those celebrating it at home and at Bilbao would tell you to get a life, you oxygen thief!CL is a real competition compared to EL. I agree with you. EL is lower grade comp than even english league cup (because you eventually play real prem heavyweights). 2019 was a much bigger footballing achievement than the EL cup we won yesterday, no question about it.
Glad everyone is having good time, but they shouldn’t get carried away, and should try to maintain some perspective.
Champions of Europe? Champions of Europe Junior League is what it really is. I don’t think we beat a single CL team all season.
Can’t agree with that.Ask any player what they would prefer and you'll get the answer.

Yep, it was my biggest gripe with Poch. He sacked off domestic cups every season. And what did we get from it? CL football and bantered to bits..Today has really made me realise just how much I wish we'd won a trophy during one of Poch, Kane and Prime Dele years rather than finishing top 4 (but never 1st)
100%. Loved the Poch years and the football and vibes were unreal.Today has really made me realise just how much I wish we'd won a trophy during one of Poch, Kane and Prime Dele years rather than finishing top 4 (but never 1st)

Especially those with user names beginning with d for dumb.
