Not sure what is pissing me off more. The fact that we are constantly failing to capitalise on other teams losing or the fact once again, we bent over and let Liverpool shaft us whilst every other team are beating them with ease. Spurs really fuck me off.
We are the only team liverpool scored against in the last 528 minutes they have played.

It’s strange isn’t it.
If Levy took a 50% pay cut, and gave the rest to the club, we’d have 3.5M more in the transfer kitty a year
Although that's never been the point anyone has tried to make.

If we're paying the highest boardroom salaries in the league, why are we performing so poorly when it comes putting stuff in the trophy cabinet?

Some would say it's synonymous with how the club is run and where the team lies in the list of priorities.

Can you not even see how 18 months of zero investment in the team coinciding with Levy receiving the highest CEO salary Premier League history might irk more than just a few fans?

Especially now, considering how far we've fallen since.

I appreciate you may find it entirely acceptable, but surely you get why others don't.

You say 18 months as if we could actually buy players at any time.
It was one window following a season we spent 26M on Moura in January.

Poch even said Moura was an early summer acquisition. We also got top 4 and to a CL final that season after the so called window that destroyed the club.

You said it was a massive achievement.
But that’s right, it was only a massive achievement for Poch, and THFC were just along for the ride......Sissoko, Winks and Moura did nothing that season eh

But you understand that nobody is saying putting half of Levy's salary into the transfer budget makes the slightest bit of difference, right?

It's a kinda childish, playground statement to suggest otherwise

Just wanted to clear that up.. That's all mate.

Cool, but it’s weird to keep bringing it up in relation to squad investment then

👍

Do you not think that paying a manager £15m per year (the second highest in world football) is investing in the team and making it a priority ?

You cant buy players at any time but you can scout potential targets and put plans in place so that you are ready to attack a window in the best way possible

We obviously didn't do that and have been paying heavily for it ever since

Dont understand how that is even up for debate anymore to be honest

It was a great amount of investment in an important area. Unfortunately what was spent on was not what was needed. "A fool and his money are soon parted."
