You could argue that's either smart, or lily livered. How many does he just not attempt? Would it be better to get stuck in and win twice as many, but drop the win ratio by 30%, or does standing off on 50/50's mean that he's in a better defensive position and therefore the oppo are less likely to launch a quick counter than if he dives in and loses out?
What do they even classify as an offensive duel?
Where do the forwards/wingers from other high possession teams sit in terms of offensive duels per 90? If you have the ball a lot you probably don't need to duel that much.

None of our forwards are specialist dribblers. Kulusevski gives us elite ability to receive under pressure and carry the ball but from a stand still, he’s not an elite dribbler.

Could just as easily look at this chart and say Johnson and Kulusevski both dribble more and better than Salah who is an all-time prem winger.
Or that Johnson dribbles almost exactly as often as Diaz but is >10% more successful at them.
