To me, we actually look like we are getting worse, not better. This is a major fucking concern!
If you can point me to the amount of games Poch was without all of Son, Kane and Sissoko, plus didn’t have the option of Llorente then you can compare the “fact” we are getting worse.

Performances have been diabolical, but the results have improved.
Poch didn’t get sacked for his time here between 2016-2019.
He was sacked for a combination of PL results and performances between January and November 2019, plus the abysmal atmosphere around the whole club.

Let’s not rewrite history here, yesterday wasn’t worse than losing to West Ham, Burnley, Bournemouth, Newcastle or Southampton.

The 2-2 at the Etihad was one of the worst performances of Pochs tenure despite the good result.
The 2-2 at the Emirates, the 2-2 v Olympiacos, absolutely throwing away leads, the 7-2, Colchester, Brighton.
The 1-1 v Watford 4 minutes away from losing to the worst team in the league at the time at home.

It was 11 months of toilet, and it reached a head this season, even after he was given the players he wanted in the summer and was able to keep the ones he wanted.

I find it odd that people can say it’s worse.....worse you say?
Even with a superior RB to the one we had last season?
Even with Dele who “hasn’t been poor”?

Even with Dier not playing who is the cause of all our midfield issues?

Even with Ndombele who is showing “all the attributes of a world class CM”?

Even without Sissoko who “offers nothing”?

Even though Lo Celso “has been a revelation”?

Even though Hugo is back because “Gaz is shit”?

Even though the “bad apples” have gone?

Even though we aren’t 14th anymore?

There’s so much contradiction on here it makes your eyes bleed reading it.
Wasn’t the 2018 window the reason we were shit up until November?
Yet since Jose came no one has said the words “2018 Summer Window.”
Doesn’t it count to them now?

But don’t tell me despite all of the above opinions, it’s all because of Moura and Jose.

Nothing to do with the garbage state we was left in and the 80M of crap the last manager left us with in Sessegnon and Ndombele, while selling our first choice RB and not replacing him and selling our back up strikers because “Kane”.

Nothing do with moral, nothing to do with trying to integrate new signings who had no pre season with the team, nothing to do with injuries, nothing to with players not performing.

Basically NONE of the reasons people have Poch a pass for nearly a whole year of relegation form AND results count anymore after 16wks for the new manager.

Crass, bullshit. Get over it man, he’s never coming back.

Our performances under JOSE are getting worse!

How strange that it coincides with our injury situation getting worse
No it fucking doesn't the only games we've played remotely well in was nearly three months ago Sammy, against West Ham (his FIRST game) and Burnley (his FOURTH game). We've progressively declined to this dross cowardice low-block bullshit since those games. He actually defended the reason for this was because he lost Ben Davies to injury!!

He played this way against Man U, Liverpool and the first game against Chelsea with Kane and Sonny in the side!!!

So despite supporting Pochs notion that players need up to two years to show their quality, you actually think that our new guys since January should be tearing bit up non stop already?
You pick and choose games to show a decline but the curve isn’t a constant one.
We haven’t been brilliant and gone downhill, we’ve been solidified in our results, but performances have been pretty much par since West Ham.
The last two games with Son has seen a new dimension to our shitness up top though. How odd.

Do you know what transition means?

Are you still shitting your pants over Woolwich and their brilliant new style and direction?

Not being able to utilise one of or both of these guys certainly hasn't helped us Spanners. Officially the PL's most lethal partnership based on games to goals ratios:

It would literally damage any team mate.
It would, but I really do think that this team is being shackled.*
Even if Son and Kane were fully fit, we'd still play the same tactics under JM.
It would break my heart to see us klumping long balls up to Harry with 3 defenders around him, because or midfield has been told to sit deep and not give anything away.

*Our game plan, against good teams, is ;
sit back
concede nothing
hope to nick one

What actually happens;
sit back
concede one or two
go at the oppo from 60 mins onwards
actually look like a team that can create and score.

You said our dross performances coincided with our injuries.

I showed you that it didn't as we were just as shit with Kane and sonny playing, why are you now ducking this? Why haven't you got a response to back up that we played dross with both of them in the side? Where does this leave your theory?

Do you want to hold your hands up and agree or do double down?

Again, don't make this a competition, you can introduce other elements that mitigate reasons for playing like cunts but before you do let's just nail the point about playing dross with both Sonny and Kane both in the team. I'm not going to rub your nose in it, your other points might still be relevant. Let's see if this debate can be held in an adult fashion or degenerate into the usual boring strawman slugfest.

Our performances have been worse the last two games than they were when we were beating Wolves away mate.
Get a grip of yourself

You actually think this lump of chip fat offers more than Sissoko don’t you.
Ever stopped to wonder when our central midfield went to total shit.....

There’s actually a really straightforward comparison for this. In the home game against Chelsea (with Kane and Son in the team as well) with Dier and Sissoko playing we managed 44% of the ball, around 50 less passes through midfield, Dier was so shit he was yanked off at half time, we had one shot on target.

Yesterday we managed to have 51% of the ball, 3 shots on target and none of our CM’s got dragged off at half time. And we were away, and missing Kaneand Son and had a rookie CB at RB.

And Ndombele got through more of the ball than Sissoko per time on the pitch too.

So yeah, I’ll take the lump of chip fat all day, everyday.

Who is arguing that we haven't been shit since last January? We have. With two different managers and with lots of different players on the pitch. We scraped some results under Poch and we have been scraping results under Mourinho.

The problems with this team are impossible to fix mid-season with our injuries and fixture schedule. You are complaining perfectly fairly about recent shit performances but the game yesterday was not even the worst game we've had this season, not even close. Colchester away, Newcastle at home, Watford at home, Sheffield at home, City away, United away, Chelsea at home, we have been shit in almost every game no matter who is playing. There are problems with our team in every aspect, mental, physical and tactical.

Poch warned of a painful season and difficult rebuild so why are you so surprised that it's happening? Poch warned of a tough season ahead. Mourinho warned of a tough season and it's been made even tougher by injuries. He may or may not have the answers but the freaking out because we are not playing well with a tired, unbalanced team is absurd.

There has been a massive neon question mark hanging over our players ever since their performance in the CL final. That was the biggest game in the history of Tottenham, the biggest game those players will ever play, and they never left the dressing room. They only seem to wake up for 15 minutes at the end of matches. Mourinho's flaws are well-established but you are talking as if he is playing shit football with Manchester City's squad. Maybe you need to consider that perhaps our squad is not really capable of that much more until some of the new players really settle in. Two managers have not been able to play high-quality football with these guys or even get them to start games properly.

Agree with much of that, but our funk goes back way further than the CL final.
