We beat Villa and Hull with 10 men and we are lucky. However, they beat the basement with a basically indifferent first half, under the cosh in the second and a touch of luck that gives them a 2nd against the run of play. Then, Leicester are reduced to 10 men and suddenly they are 'back to giddy heights' of last season and Gerrard is a world beater.

It's always the same though, especially where Spurs are concerned. Last Saturday Everton had got off to a strong start to the season and were unbeaten in their last 8 games, Spurs apparently were almost in freefall....which is a funny way to describe two teams with similar ambitions who were level on points.
