So Arteta sat on the City bench yesterday looking at the Woolwich team and thinking to himself that he can do a job with that squad? :mourfacepalm:
Looked more like he was thinking "fuck that!" to me.

He'd be absolutely mad to go for the Goons gig. Where do you start? So Arteta sat on the City bench yesterday looking at the Woolwich team and thinking to himself that he can do a job with that squad? :mourfacepalm:
The only way to base if Arteta will be good for them or not is what other Managers in the game think of him, namely Poch and Pep rated him highly, so reason have a concern if he is appointed.
But I can't help but think he would be better served in taking the Everton job now as there is less of an expectation from him than there would be at the scum. I think the two squads are comparable, both have some overpaid shite on their books and a sound number of youth players in and around the first team. But as Everton have had such a poor run of form since Moyes left it's a case of the only way is up for Everton.
With the scum, the trajectory is still downwards all against the backdrop of an expectant fanbase who think they are better than they really are. In other words, there is a greater chance of failure at Woolwich than there is at Everton.
Assuming if he got Everton 6th, this will be seen as an achievement, it wouldn't if he were at Woolwich.
Have to assume for the moment that Pep will leave at the end of his current contract, then the easiest thing to do is stay at City, learn a bit more and plan and build the steps beyond Pep with the money and help of a well-oiled machine.
Always think it's better for coaches who want to manage is to start at a lower level like league 1 or the championship (maybe the scum next season)This... He'd be mad to leave. Even if he bombs at City, an Everton/Woolwich-level appointment would be in the offing following on from that anyway.

Long may it continue,so long until they are finally relegated from the English leagues. By the way calling that lot a "club" is being generous. They are a clown show. Made a reactive, emotional decision to sack Emery because their fans were crying about him being shit. Which, hey, fair enough, he wasn't getting the job done, BUT...
Had absolutely no plan for who to replace him with. They had a shortlist of around 10 or so names, and all of the actual good managers on the list apparently turned them down quickly.
They were relying on a new manager bounce from a guy who has never managed AND they didn't even give him a proper coaching staff. It's been dragging on for weeks now with the losses mounting.
So they decide to settle for the only available guy that won't turn them down. This guy has ALSO never coached and has no track record in management. This is also a guy they interviewed before and decided not to hire.
What a comedy show, they are a joke of a club.
Yeah make him play the whole 90minutes that’ll teach the cunt.
I don't know what's more amusing. The tweet or the fact it got a disagree
"a club the size of Woolwich"
Sadly he only 'cares' now because it is a Muslim minority.Funny how Özil's never had a word to say about human rights abuse in the Emirates and Rwanda.
Fuck him
Bingo. He doesn't care about human rights, he cares about Muslims only.Sadly he only 'cares' now because it is a Muslim minority.
Bingo. He doesn't care about human rights, he cares about Muslims only.
If that's the case, he would care about his own people in Turkey.Bingo. He doesn't care about human rights, he cares about Muslims only.
It's also hilarious that they couldn't have him lined up when they sacked Emery. It's like they caved to fan pressure and fired Emery and thought that was all they had to do. "Oh, you mean we need to hire a replacement now, well shit, anyone good available?"The imminent Arteta appointment is just so ridiculously baffling. They could have got him prior to Emery meaning the 1 and half years with Emery was a total waste of time.
They need someone with experience of managing the league not another manager with zero experience. They never learn loooool.
