Tony Adams was actually quite interesting on Talksport today when he said that the only training Wenger did with the squad when he arrived was fitness and conditioning. Wenger told Adams that he 'wasn't going to tell him how to defend' which was completely different to the drilling that George Graham gave the defenders. It really goes a long way to back up the theory that Wengers early success was a fortunate combination of established defensive units with his attacking style of play.
