There are people on here on a serious witch hunt, they have pitchforks and burning torches and if they don't see someone strung up and burning they will want to know the reason why!

Everybody join in
"all we want is a team of Harry Kane's, a team of Harry Kane's"
Sorry, but that’s just nonsense. While you wear the colours of the club, you behave accordingly & act in the best interests of your employer.
He was out injured. Picking up a huge wage, whilst the club took care of his medical needs. Fans were keeping fingers crossed that he would be ready for the start of the season & wishing him well for his recovery. Then, out of the blue, he goes whining very publicly about the fans, his wages & showing enormous disrespect to Club signings. I bet he had to google Davinson Sanchez, for example. He would certainly have had to google Eric Dier & Dele Alli. I bet he never even thought that people probably had to google his name at some point (& his mate Kyle Walker), & that the policy of the club he was criticising, was the same policy that gave him his break in the top flight.

Nobody is on a witch hunt. People are rightly wary of someone who has shown himself (it’s all there in the interview that he asked for, behind the club & his agent’s back) to be an ungrateful & greedy cunt.

I understand that you and like-minded people are upset with him, I'm not because all he's guilty of is verbalising the mindset of about 99% of all modern footballers. We all know it, so I see no point in getting all wound up about what they say. I'll just keep supporting him as long as he plays his heart out for the club. If he wants out let's cash in on him while he's got a good value.

Nobody is getting wound up about it either Mick. I couldn’t give two fucks if he has a stunning season, wins the World Cup & then fucks off.

You still need a castle to be burned down by the revolting peasants

Some people do seem to be a bit hot under the collar about it
I've probably just become too cynical about the whole over commercialisation of the game and it seems to have neutered my anger about this sort of thing.

Is this a statement or a question?
Football as an institution needs burning down and rebuilding from the ground up, and whilst I don't want to see a return of players as indentured slaves, I would like to see some sort of sanction passed on those who actively agitate for moves and realistic penalties for clubs, managers or seniors at board level for their overt solicitation of players services.

They were never indentured slaves. I agree with you in that these are young healthy lads who get paid (yes paid) to play a sport they love.
These days it’s not enough to be adored by a legion of fans & earn a wage. Rose earns millions a year & apparently believes he’s worth more.
It’s how the sport has gone, regrettably.

Pre the abolition of the maximum wage, it was close.....

I wonder how many of them actually realise that they earn more in a week than the national average annual salary? Rooney earns more a week (reportedly) than I earn in 4 years, or a nurse does in ten.
Mental amounts

Who knows what actually penetrates the bubble that most of them seem to live in with their agents shielding them from everyday life, from an increasingly early age as well nowadays.

Jesus Christ. Fuck Danny Rose. He's made his feelings clear about us and the club.

He can kiss my arse on the way back to Sunderland. Chippy cunt.

He's a fucking left back for crying out loud. It's where you play the class retard.

Fuck him off. Buy the Fulham lad and let's get on with our lives.

Good luck to him, nice to see an honest footballer rather than the cliche spouting badge kissing wankers the Wally's are hoodwinked by.

Yeah, it's much better to see a player express his grievances straight to the newspapers, rather than to discuss it with his employers.

Good luck to him at United 'cos he "says it how it is"

It’s a fucking joke Mick

Think old Hammer horror films

Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino spells it out to ‘fuming’ full-back Danny Rose

This quote says it all, “It surprised me to create a problem like this when there wasn’t one."

Rose is finished, fuck him. I'd never boo Walker, and will always remember the guy fondly. Neither are the case for Rose.

On the positive side, Eric is back!
