That's definitely bad news.
He shouldn't be on his jollies he should be resting or having treatment.

Likely out about 4 weeks if its a sprained MCL. That is a tough loss
He's already been charged by the fa I thinkAll because that cunt elbowed him in the face
Are we not trying to get him done retrospectively for that?
It's not gonna be rest of season, that would only happen if it was torn and needed surgery. If that was the case they would know that by now. The length of time depends on how serious the "damage" was to the ligament. At worst it could be 2 months I thinkI would take 4 weeks rather than the rest of the season.
Poch doesn't rush anyone back, suspect we won't see Jan until April.Update on the Tottenham facebook says:
"Further assessment and scans have confirmed that Jan Vertonghen sustained damage to his medial collateral ligament in his knee at Crystal Palace. Our medical staff will continue to monitor his progress to determine when he will be ready to return to training.
Get well soon, Jan!"
Won't play again this season, doubt itThat's bad right?
That severe you think?Won't play again this season, doubt it
ACL - 9 months
Medial - 4 to 8 weeks - more often than not - depending on if it's a sprain or tear.
I'm afraid so, we won't rush him back that's for sureThat severe you think?
I thought he retired and became a full time fisherman by nowWill Fazio see some Europa/Cup action now? I don't even remember when he was last listed on the team for a game
