Last I read he was still learning English, and also ineligible for an official work permit, so he was training but it was all very hush hush.

Heard it was a work permit issue with him. He trains with the youth team but can't play any games. It's what I've heard but everything regarding Yahaya has sounded so dodgy that I don't know how true it is.

For one season admittedly, I wish I'd have had a one season like that in me though.
I think I read that his brother plays for the club. He has nothing to lose I suppose. He'd probably loaded, he's been capped by his country off the back of his efforts, played at the very top in both Spain and England and probably just wants to enjoy his football again.
Had one hell of a season though. Very much enjoyed him dicking Woolwich on more than once occasion. He's probably the best of most one season wonders that include the likes of Collins John, Roque Santa Cruz, Amr Zaki.
