Did anyone think that there was any chance that we would actually sign anyone this window?
Not reeeeeeally but the Dele exit rumours did make me think something could be on the cards if it happened (even if it was Eriksen back on loan until the summer to mix things up).

Also I never rule out the possibility that we nab some young home grown talent from the Football League and loan him straight back to his parent club. Shame we didn't see that to be honest as I felt financially we'd have had more leverage this January.

Does SC qualify for a Covid bailout? The downturn in the footballing economy has surely deprived them of much needed subscribers....

:mourpointlaugh:
Hahaha, and another thing...

Won't anybody think of Jim White?

Imagine being that narcissistic yet knowing deep down that virtually no one is watching your pathetic Look At Me extravaganza

Interesting to see Harry having a little pop at Mourinho on SSN.

On Dele and Mourinho

"Dele' a good player...........should bang their heads together.........Jose's a top manager, it's his job to get the best out of Dele.........whatever it takes, extra training, get him out on the pitch in the afternoon's and work with him........work with him "

Poch desperately wanted Grealish and Fernandes. Kind of unfair to blame this all on Poch when he was not in charge of recruiting?

Most managers want certain players but don't always get them - in summer 2019 Poch got Ndombele who he wanted but opted for Lo Celso rather than Fernandes, probably the Argentinian connection.

In summer 2018 Poch seems to have only had Frenkie de Jong Frenkie de Jong admits he nearly joined Tottenham before Barcelona move | Football News | Sky Sports and Grealish (new Villa owners refused to sell betting that Grealish could get Villa to PL - worth £200m+, far more than a fee for him).....and no plan B when neither were available.

So sudoku is right to blame Poch for his transfer policy of wanting Sanchez, Sissoko, Aurier et al.

A lot of online fans hated him, a sizeable portion (stadium fans sung his name). He got regular abuse but it was insane when he signed that contract extension. Time has made us forget what nasty cunts we have in our fanbase.
He had talent since the days of Harry, behave about bang average lol.

We gave him a platform in exchange for his literal blood, sweat and tears. It wasn't out of the generosity of our hearts. We also didn't fairly compensate him when you consider what lesser players were earning. Him and other players like him were always going to be aggrieved when they cottoned on to the small wage extension game.

He had some good matches in our CL final run it's not that outrageous he felt he could do it in an OAP league known for being bossed by has-beens.

You're taking things personally and getting emotional over things Rose has said/did.
Too true. Look at all the hate on here for poch. & people still go around the forum saying spurs fans only have good things to say about him.
