I would like to hope that Hart sees this as a shot to get back to the big time and will find the motivation to get back to his original form. Lloris's place is far from assured and I think the competition will be good for both of them with the Gaz man waiting in the wings.

That article might be saying it won't happen but I think it's up to Joe and what he does with the opportunities that are given to him.

Let's please reserve judgement until there are league points or a cup at stake, but I will admit he looked in good shape yesterday.

I'm only 23.86627% serious(*), matey!

(*....About Supa-Joe that is. Obviously the league title is a lock. :townhmm: )

Maybe he'll prove the doubters (myself included) wrong and if Gazza goes to Fulham he's going to have to. There'll be nobody more happier than me if this turns out to be the bargain buy of the season. I'll gladly wipe the egg off my face.

.....Don't tell anyone, but I don't think our 2nd/3rd keeper stands to make a great deal of difference in the grand scheme of things. :kaneshh:

Anyone here ever see that film The Natural where Robert Redford plays an ageing baseball player who inspires a struggling team to glory? Maybe Hart can be our Roy Hobbs:

I prefer to dream instead of expecting the worst and, when Hart was in his heyday, he was a brick wall. And don't under-estimate how influential a GK can be in how a team performs. Brian Clough believed that Peter Shilton was worth 30 points a season.
