Patson Daka scored four tonight.

Frederic Kanoute openly revealed spurs' interest in him in 2020.

Of course Leicester managed to sign him over us because theyre an oil-state owned juggernaut......... Oh wait?

Oh well, the price was beyond Spurs' means...... 23 million...... Oh.... Wait?

Is it just possible, that Spurs could have afforded it but ENIC/Levy simply chose not to improve the team?......well, you know what they say about history repeating itself.

Maybe Mourinho and/or Paratici/Nuno didn't fancy him? I'd like to see ENIC out, but you can't blame every non-signing on the board. He didn't come from Serie A and isn't a native Spanish/Portuguese-speaker, so you know we didn't even look at him this last offseason.

We can’t blame the board for not having Leicester’s recruitment and coaching team who are the very best in the business. (Though we should imitate their methods to the extent we can)

We can blame the board for spending like Leicester when we rake in like triple their revenue.

Fair points, but i would also suggest yes, you absolutely can blame the board because who was brought in as a striking alternative? And thats even after bale and vinicius left.

Awful squad depth that is perpetuated by this tight mentality. Then if nuno was lucky enough to even get this squad far in a competition, we end up blaming the manager rather than considering that maybe the top players are burnt out when we eventually reach the latter stages of competitions.

Why not get a second team. The first one made us such huge profits on our investments. Maybe we can have another Huge stadium elsewhere, and franchise NFL further.

ENIC wanting to buy shares in another club is just criminal when the one they own hasn't seen silverware in years.

UEFA should forbid transfers between clubs with the same ownership and put a stop to this entire practice, IMO.

Even across continents I don’t love it, but the implications of having an English feeder team in the Belgian top division is just horrible for the sport.

Down with Football Colonialism.

Seperately, yes, our master of money laundering ownership continues to treat Spurs first team the way it treats HMRC. Stash the cash ANYWHERE they can’t get their grubby hands on it.

Don't say it too loud. 22.2% believe ENIC should stay. Some Champion the Great rebuild (3rd or 4th attempt) and defend Levy and ENIC because of the way in which the TFC brand has grown.

Man City take the utter piss with their loans and transfers in this manner.

ENIC invest to make money silverware they are not bothered about so this would be up their street.

Fair point that we missed the boat on this one player ... justifiable criticism

Would you also congratulate ENIC/Levy for not buying any one of a dozen overpriced players who have failed miserably at their new clubs?

How about Sancho 72m, Ben White 60m, Grealish 100m would you have wanted those three for nearly quarter of a billion?
