I suspect the bloke writing that was a Spurs fan....
Good pointHow many Spurs fans have you heard say they love the home kit?...
Good point
Not many, but the way he waxed lyrical about it.... Either that or he is being very sarcastic
I might get that tattooed on me armEven if he was we're still top of the league.....
Will say it again, The PL Kit League Champions 2016/17.
yeah, me too. I stare at them in the closet from time to time. I'm sure I'll do the same this year.I own replica shirts, I just dont wear them!
How often do you wear a Tottenham shirt? Me,it's usually random probably dont get value for money as regards how many times during the season but its more habit of having the current shirt!
it's strange. As Spurs fans we want the kit, to show our support and give some money to fund our club.
Bit of an interesting quandary there. I would imagine very little of the kit revenue ends up in the hands of the club, with most of the coin ending up in the pockets of UA. While the majority of the revenue from the other licensed apparel not made by UA probably does end up in the pocket of the club.
Of course, the more shirts and apparel we sell, the more leverage we have in new kit deal and sponsorship negotiations. So maybe it's a case of 6 of one, half a dozen of another.
As far as cultural acceptance of shirt wearing, I really don't get why everyone in the UK is so hung up on it. Maybe someone can explain it to me, but it's clearly not something the rest of the world has a problem with.
Merchandising revenue was £12.3m last year. I don't know how much of this is represented by shirt sales.
Sorry Will, I've no idea.I imagine that includes the £10m in the annual contract with UA?
If it jumps by around 15 mil when we have Nike then we will know, I like changes simply because little things like this are learnedSorry Will, I've no idea.
Leaving only 2.3m sales revenue? No way.I imagine that includes the £10m in the annual contract with UA?
Same here, but the reason is mine from the last 20 years don't fit me anymoreI own replica shirts, I just dont wear them!
