Going by what they portrayed in the amazon doc the medial team would be perfectly fine with Skipp being unavailable for this or however many seasons they like. Regardless of what the manager thinks.

Interesting that it is our young players like Skipp and Sess who are long term injured and not the older players.
Of course because Murray's had long to work on them. Royale Kulu and Bentancur have been cared for by actual professionals.

The medical team should be sacked on the spot. The treatment of Skipp's injury has been nothing short of a disgrace...

...What a clusterfuck.

Why not just get it done a couple of months ago?

We've also been out-sourcing aspects of his care to so-called specialists; so it's not exclusively at the doorstep of our internal medics.

Our medical team are fucking shit.

Gutted. I had a feeling it was going on too long for him to be back before the end of the season. Hope he makes a (not even going to bother saying speedy at this point) good recovery!

Feels like it's taken a lot longer than it should have done. I guess I'm no medical expert but Conte doesn't seem that impressed with our in-house team and maybe they have lessons to learn over this.

At least there's some closure on his condition and when he is going to return.

Ally Gold, as close as we have to a club insider on these things, said it was an injury that could only get better with rest. So what's changed? Looks like Skipp's seen another specialist, and they've given a different opinion. We don't know the details. But the fact the medics seemingly don't agree suggests it's not clear cut. I doubt surgery is a straightforward fix. Saying he'll be back for pre-season sounds like just another hopeful guess at this point.

Treating awkward injuries is not always straightforward, it‘s impossible to say whether his injury has been mismanaged or not. It’s easy to complain that they should have done the surgery earlier but no doctor can see into the future. Having the surgery earlier probably would have ended his season anyway. Rest is normally enough but a big shame that in this case it wasn’t.

Let’s just hope that this surgery is a success and he is ready for a full part in preseason.
