In my humble opinion what we really lack are good passers of the ball - all over the pitch. We have assembled a team of specialists for everything except playing good possession football. Some are good finishers, some are good runners with the ball, some are good tacklers. But passing and moving and cooperating and playing well with the ball has just disappeared.
How the hell one fixes that in a season or two I don't know , because this team is so extremely unbalanced. I suspect that Nuno will have to play defensively and boring as hell to try and get results or he will loose his job by January.

Gill is young potential. I'm excited about him but he's not proven yet. Ndombele has been here since 2019 and hasn't exactly made himself indispensable. We're going into Chelsea looking like we'll need to play Ben Davies at CB. We have one single striker. No creative midfielders. Threadbare.
It's only against Chelsea and we always get the rub of the green against them........
