Lad gave away a goal and a few other errors. Still had a fantastic debut.
Let us hope Reals LB position remains stacked in the coming 2 years.

Interesting to see if he will be on the bench tomorrow (I would be very surprised if he starts), but I think he will start on Sunday
He is our no 1 LB, and only the fixture congestion is preventing him from starting every game from now onHe absolutely has to start Sunday.
Seeing how much success march got for Brighton down United's right hand side he needs to.He absolutely has to start Sunday.
He had a pre-season, just not with us.None of that rubbish about needing a pre-season.
If you're good enough - you're good to go immediately.
He's quick, yes but 15yrds were made up by anticipating and reading the situation too.Didn't realise he was that quick. That's elite acceleration.
Yeah I like how that as soon as there was a sniff of trouble there he was full power. No fucking about to see if it broke our way. He's quick, yes but 15yrds were made up by anticipating and reading the situation too.

Great nickname for the lad. Sonic !
Reminds me of when Bale joined. He quickly impressed with his attacking runs but was prone to defensive mistakes which was why it took a while to hold down a starting place. What a joy to have a pacy, tenacious, attack-minded, technically good LB who can get up & down the pitch.

Ball played down the right. Reggie out of position but used his pace to get back. Then slid at full pace to try and block a cross. Problem is the Cehlsea player didn't try to cross, so Reggie goes flying past him on the ground, leaving the attacker loads of time and space to pick a pass.I didn't see the error, but I know he is better than Davies, so what more do you need? He got on two long crosses from Aurier that got me excited. It's a no brainer, he is the first LB in the squad.

I think Ben Davies´ performances should be called anything but "disappointing" - he delivers exactly what you expect from him. Solid defender, tactically smart; also, since we´ve stopped using asymmetrical FB´s, he´s been pushing forward really well.I really like Davies, and glad that Mou likes him and designed a system that put him on a podium too. But i have to say, so far he has been really disappointing in Mou era. Maybe he just have that underdog mentality. Hope he steps up now that its clear when all things running, Reguilon is going to be the first choice.
