Conte very disappointed by what he saw, but he did little to change it. Alli should have been left on and one of the awful duo in cm taken off. As much as Glc and ndom have not been great they at least can take advantage of situations like that, winks and PEH - never. PEH is terrible on the ball, technically better than sisoko but not by much.

Why oh why did the ref have to blow for a foul, for the goal scored when Matt Doherty challenged the keeper?
If the ref had let the goal stand (as they are instructed to do in situations like this), VAR would have overruled him or asked him to take a second look on the monitor, where any fool would have seen there was no foul.
In this situation today, why couldn't VAR have asked the ref to reconsider ?
A goal had been scored, the most decisive part of a game, yet everyone watching live on TV worldwide can see it was a fair goal, plus the VAR team can also see it was a fair goal, but VAR, are not allowed to tell the ref he has made a fuck up? Why?

We were very fortunate to go in at HT in that position but we had a golden opportunity to finish them off. The officiating screwed us, but thought Conte's choices badly imbalanced the team and he didn't gamble enough with the subs. That game was crying out for Ndombele (as much as a lazy fucker as he is).
