It would equally be sensible if the manager deems either/both players not fit to play.
Why have we gone Davies instead of Reggie and Gio instead of Ndombele?
I take your point, but we have no perfect solution here- Reguilon, for all his efforts, is currently quite reluctant to put crosses into the box, whereas Davies does it well. I like Davies. But that's bollocks though.
We played defensively against both City and Chelsea with Reguilon as our left back but he didn't get caught up field once.
He's an outlet who allows us to attack on the counter with pace and width. Which we now don't have.
Would probably take this to be fair. Think we'll win by more though.0-2 victory
This is probably what he's thinking. Frustrate them for 60 minutes then try to steal the game later. It'll be ugly but if we get the result that's all that matters.Maybe Mo is doing a rope-a-dope. Taking the punches for the first 60 min ir so, then applying the killer punch when Reggie and Ndombele come on as subs.
You could MAYBE make an argument for Gio over Ndombele based on Ndombele’s generally poor level of fitness and Gio being a quality alternative. I cannot fathom what possible argument would support Davies over ReguilonWhy have we gone Davies instead of Reggie and Gio instead of Ndombele?

I often find that not to be the case!
Would “probably” take a 2 goal win? You’ve lost your damn mind. You’d DEFINITELY take a win of any sort.Would probably take this to be fair. Think we'll win by more though.
Probably being rested for the next Europa League match in FebruaryGutted there’s no Vinicius on the bench
Mourinho masterclass v1Why have we gone Davies instead of Reggie and Gio instead of Ndombele?
