Yeah, no doubt he does but he wouldn't have said it if he was still playing for us so why say it now. Just sticking the boot in.
Seemed really odd, he's come out and said he's hoping to go-to the WC.I wonder if he would've left if he knew of our situation now? He'd be guaranteed first-team alongside Dawson until Vertonghen returns, and even then would've been rotation (assuming Kaboul's injury is the worst-case scenario and he might not play again). Could've seen him playing at least 70% of games if he stayed.

imo he have more chance playing half the amount of games for us than a'll the games for Cardiff.
Agree entirely - it seems like you really need to shine outside the top 7 to attract an England spot - even then, it's normally just for a cap or two before you're sent away again.
Maybe he just wants regular football and to progress more - if so, can't blame him, but he would have had a real chance to force himself into the first XI this season.
I'm hoping that selling Caulker is Levy's compromise to Stellar Corp. I imagine (hope) Levy said "right you fucking wanker, I'll sell Caulker for about 10 mil, you get your 500K pay out and then just drop it with Bale, yeah?"
We were getting so close to a squad that had depth at all positions and now we need a CB and a LB and then whatever happens following the Bale saga's conclusion. Seems hard to believe we'll have the time to get that much in judging by how long our transfers normally take.
We also have barely seen a single link for any of our ample amount of deadwood to leave.
Don't blame him, really.Yeah, no doubt he does but he wouldn't have said it if he was still playing for us so why say it now. Just sticking the boot in.
