Ex-Spurs Player Steven Caulker

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I agree he would have been consulted but If the guy wanted to go his head wouldnt be in the right place and we dont need that at the start of another season, its out of AVB's hands. its then in the lap of baldini and co to get the right price/agree to the fee when the offers come in. AVB wouldnt have been working the street corners touting Caulker

Seems to me, Caulker got all loved up during his time at Swansea...he didn't fancy the Gavin and Stacey thing so he jumped at the first opportunity to go to Wales he could.

I just hope he hasn't gone to a team that are going to get relegated, it's a big career risk to make just because of some Welsh tart*.

*I have nothing against Welsh tarts....in fact, I knew one once and she was absolute filth :avbdamn::ledleylick::gazza2:
Now there's one that got away!

I don't think there's any way we start the season with the dynamic duo of Livermore and Fryers as starters so yeah another CB seems likely.

I know our trasfer policy is erratic to say the least but we have to have a CB in the crosshairs, id take anyone at this rate above Fryers and livermore. Bring back Dorian Dervite, Gary Doherty anyone?

feel I may be grasping at straws

Cardiff's captain now, and scored the only goal in the Welsh Derby. Good job , big guy

He's one of those players who leaves Spurs who I still want to see do well. Hopefully he'll get himself in the England squad for Brazil. (Especially if it's at the expense of that cunt Terry)

He should definitely be considered for a place at Brazil, not a huge difference between him and the other centre backs pushing for a place. Would love to see him push out Cahill and hopefully that cunt Terry

And he has his whole career ahead of him, which some others dont

Definitely. It's a very good thing for England that he's made such great strides so early in his career. The problem is going to be that we can't really say the same when it comes to his peers in other positions. Wilshere hasn't turned out to be the technically gifted playmaker everyone hoped he would be, having developed into more of a scrappy water-carrying type, and while Sturridge could potentially be a fantastic line-leader for the national side we really don't have any other forwards coming through to provide good alternative options.
