Nah, the changes that have happened recently are about 50% down to excellent long-term management of the club, and 50% the new tv deal money and sponsorship re-negotiations.

Not necessarily all of it though, commercial deals have increased and they've started doing more in terms of publicising in other countries. Just a theory.

BREAKING NEWS

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid because he does not want to play in Spain any more, Sky Sports News HQ understands.

The former Manchester United winger is angry about the way he has been treated by Spanish tax authorities and he wants to leave the country.

Spanish prosecutors have accused him of avoiding €15m in tax - a charge he completely denies.

Ronaldo signed a new five-year contract last November which means he is contracted to Real until 2021.

Even though he is 31, very few clubs would be able to afford his wages and transfer fee.

The few that could include Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain.

There is also interest from China - with the mid season window there opening on Monday.

Have PSG still got money? for some reason I was under the impression their ability to spend had taken a dramatic downturn.

SC is full of gullible people, or perhaps what could be described as 'easily led'

The guy who owns it (I think) said earlier "Levy would've sold Kane when they wanted him but Kane wanted to stay."

Loads of people going mental and taking it as gospel, before one person asks how he knows:

"It's a few transfer windows ago but the source convinced us it was true. Just using it to illustrate the point that "Levy would never sell" isn't accurate :-("

So it wasn't recently, and it was from an indirect "source", who "convinced" them. Tenuous at best, but let's not let it stop people falling for it

:pochfacepalm:

More positive ITK at its finest.

The Goat hears (not for the first time) that there is unrest at Levy's tactics when it comes to contracts and signings, frustration from players, agents and others involved in transfers/contracts in and out. Sessegnon and his connections are losing patience as is Edwards and two or three first team players are interesting the Manchester clubs along with one other top (european) club. However it’d take an excessive bid for us to sell. These players do not include Kane or Alli. The Goat assumes these are Dier and Walker.

The Goat also hears that our wages policy is starting to bite and one or two aren’t convinced at our ambition…… it would be no great surprise to see a number of players leave over the next year or two and although Rose fancies a move is prepared to give it another year but Toby wants a get out clause in any new deal. As was the case last year, Pochettino wants new players in before the 2nd week of pre-season.

What utter shit, devised to incite the crowd and stir things up. :avbfu:

What's Toby's get out clause? Win the league or he can go? What utter bollocks. JK Rowling would struggle to come up with as much fantasy as that

I'm gonna write one of these and post it on SC...
let's see if I can convince them that we're in for Joey Barton (once his 18month ban has ended) ...that we wanna bring Jake Livermore back to "shore up our midfield" (once Dier leaves for Utd...)
...and that we wanna offer an olive branch to Sol to take up a coaching position with Sherwood as his personal advisor...

Oh... and Piers Morgan is gonna be given a job as our Media liaison officer... or is that one bullshit too far?

I think I can pull this one off!

Assuming this is made up, which it undoubtedly is...

What sort of cunt comes up with that negative tosh? At least suggest we're in for Messi or something.

Bill Madrid hears (not for the first time) that "The Goat" (sic) is an obese self-harming individual *cough* known to the authorities *cough* who talks about himself in the third person in a desperate yet failed attempt to appear more important.

go on then toffs...

Everton are still interested in Michael Keane, Gylfi Sigurðsson and Sandro Ramírez. (Source: SkySports)

Are Everton a team we need to start worrying about? I don't think so

Bit like us from about 8 years ago. I would be pretty annoyed if we signed any of those three.

Its amazing that we finish fucking 2nd and still the press and 'itk's' still spout negative shite throughout the summer about all our players wanting to leave. You could have sworn we were still in the days of being a midtable bunch of no hopers.
