I get they need to sell for multiple reasons unrelated to him but the full optics make me uneasy.
The fact that even lower level PL clubs certainly have money to burn and don’t seem to have any interest vexes me, because the majority of my concerns with him as a player come from whether he is actually a fit for the PL at all , he seems to lack the intensity, physicality, and ability to seize a decisive moment that successful wingers in this league have.
Except in his first season in the prem he was putting in pretty amazing key passes and assists per 90 mins numbers.
Wingers arent scoring many goals atm - we need wingers to create chances - he can.
The club followed his suggestions to bring in Tudor and DeZerbi whilst he has been at Fiorentina
The guy cannot help himself.....like you say he is a schmoozer, he has a massive network of connections with clubs, scouts and agents. He is a strong personality, networker and communicator, he is the opposite of Lange. People at Spurs still believe in him and turn to him for help and if we look at the type of players we continue to buy or be linked with there is a pattern to when he was officially here working for the club

You have to question the lad's thinking ability if as a creative player he wants to play in a Moyes team
If a creative midfielder would rather play for Moyes than De Zerbi then his IQ is probably not what we are looking for.

Not particularly imo. He has shown that he can score, its not as though he never has un his career.
Semenyo is fantastic - not always had the numbers to back it up, likewise many other players that add these numbers over time as they play regularly and good coaching.
