Not fussed he didn’t get minutes, a game every 3 days coming up will mean he has fresher legs than a few he said playing against which could be good for his confidence.

That was the proverbial six pointer tonight. In a most underwhelming season where we have had zero momentum, we had a second chance almost after the three month lay off. Beat Man U, make a statement and we’re back in the hunt for European Cup slot. Fail to win and it’s gone, which it surely is now. Those are the sort of make or break games where a £60 million record signing should be earning his spurs. Even a meaningful 20-25 minute cameo off the bench would have done. Mourinho clearly doesn’t fancy him and there’s been very little to like about Ndombele since he signed.

Fuck that noise. He’s one of our best players and he needs to play.

Honestly it's mindblowing really.

People would rather shit like Sissoko over the likes of Ndombele because he "PUTS A SHIFT IN"

Yet the same people will cry that Harry Winks is starting, who puts in more work than most of the starting eleven alone.

Your best players play.

Seriously Chris Waddle ran like Qusimodo with the squits absolute baller. This indentikit body facism is a bore. It's a post CR7 thing. I love odd footballers . Beardsley, Gazza, Letizz ,Puskas, Maradona, Garincha, Crouch. Been so many stonkingly talented odd shaped and sized players. It's not Hollywood its football.

Or maybe the game has become much faster paced and based on athleticism than the era in which most of the players you cite played in?

Nothing wrong with a talented maverick and we don't all have Ronaldo's body (very few do!) but speed and slickness are vital in today's football.

There's a lot more body variety in actors than footballers by the way 😆

Ability is nothing without application, he cannot be fucked working for his £200k+.

Did you watch the application of Sissoko tonight? He touched the ball ten fucking times in the first half, then disappeared up his own pointing arm second half.

Remember the Burnley game where Ndombele was slagged off for effort and not showing for the ball enough, well he saw the ball 40 times in that half there, just for perspective,

Even if you (wrongly) think Ndombele is a lazy bastard, we might as well put the more talented of the two lazy bastards out there.

How is it gone when there are 24 points to play for and we are 4 points behind them? Not losing was crucial, even if that lacks ambition they were on an 11 match unbeaten streak. A win would obviously have been wonderful but with how Man U looked it really is a point gained as we get a few shaking off long term injuries and a few playing with each other for the first time.

I’m content with the outcome from tonight personally, we are two wins to two Man U draws away from being on the sameness points as them which I would have taken a few hours ago given the circumstances but each to their own matey.

The issue is why didn’t our £60 million record signing see any action in a crunch match? Their £100 million record signing Pogba played a very pivotal role when he got thrown on off the bench.
