Regardless of how bad WBA are there was nothing to suggest our players downed tools.
Particularly when Hojbjerg lost the ball in the middle and N’Dombele sprinted back to tackle. The players do care still.
Was great to see Lucas and Lamela playing with real intent.
Snodgrass deserved red. The is little VAR involvement lately and the whole season was a incostistent mess when it comes to rules of this game and decisions.
Offside is offside but still it seemed that they scored too easily on two occasions.
Also sadly I think we need to improve on Davis even as a second option for someone able to attack as well as defend. Aurier was very good again though.
Lastly the position N’Dombele played today definitely doesn’t get the best out of a £60 £200k a week player but we looked good with Lamela and Lucas switching there trying to unlock WBA defense. Since we don’t have another quality midfielder other than Hojbjerg maybe we should be setting this, more attacking way either with Lamela or Lo Celso.

Let's be real for 70 minutes we were good. Not amazing just good. Much better intensity and much better in possession. Yes our goals came from Son/Kane but Moura/Lamela played their part too.

Dont know why we dropped off after that but I'm not going to get overly excited it was the right idea but West Brom are one of the worst teams in the league and they had very little threat going the other way.

We will be very defensive against City , Ok. Against Everton it will be more interesting to see how we play. That's the sort of opponent where we need to show we can play better football against.

In no ways convinced yet.

The bad thing about this win is there are not really any talking points to discuss post match because WBA are so bad. Unlike other wins this season where it was a close game with players looking great, this win is just a simple, routine win it seems.

I can’t blame people for not having a lot to discuss post match.
