I mean absolute every measurable metric points to you being absolutely wrong on that front. Position in the league at this point last season, expected goals, points in the league. Even the defensive stats are better!
That's with Ange having a lesser squad and more injuries to contend with.
Big Ange is many things, in which being a winner is undeniable. As well as being a bonafide spurs legend.
But yeah, I'm the delusional one
Will always repeat it - spurs fans, in part to the barrage of absolute shit we get from the media, are one of the biggest issues at this club. "Supporters" like you.
He's one of the few managers who has been done by Ange consistently.
Think he's a good coach at the level he is at and that's it
LOL, no, it didn't
It dropped because I'm going through a long divorce, moving house, and my life is stressful enough right now without having to add reading non stop negativity about Spurs.
At least a striker can make things happen, be a target, bring other players in game. Our current attack is shit. What's a striker gonna do with long throws , and long balls pumped up to him from one of the defenders because there's a non existent midfield?
True also. Like a few others iirc Moussa was pretty crap 2012-14 - nothing like the Beast he became under Poch. Toby always was just - well....Toby........Can’t give the manager all the credit for getting players to overachieve. I could look ok next to Dembélé, or Toby and play at an absolute peak. That 11 was class, and they could carry an average player

Again, that's rewriting history.
Poch started leaving him out of the side and he had only patchy appearances until January. The reality is that he'd probably already decided his body was on the wane and asked for that move as it was a big payday. He didn't play a lot of games in China and retired not long after.
So no, he wasn't "replaced with Winks" in January - Winks was a regular starter already
Poch also rejected a lot of "furniture" that season, if you believe what the cheif scout, Pleat, and others have said (rather than people on forums)

Ange had a Lesser squad? I don' t think so. Just having Son alone would've been better than the current crap roster.I mean absolute every measurable metric points to you being absolutely wrong on that front. He wasn't reliant on him, hence why he went. He didn't play much and "despite how important he still was to us" was, well, not enough to get much game time

Mate;
The miser replaced Dembele and Wanyama with Winks and Sissoko.
Pochettino made his thoughts clear regarding the Sissoko signing in his book.
Are you covering for Steve Hitchen or someone else?

I’m done with Ange debates but at least you knew that when Romero and VDV played together, we had a chance of winning any game,I agree, we don't know any will be better, that's kind of my point. We need someone who can adapt, I don't expect anyone at this point will turn it around in less than a season. Ange was a polarising force that reduce our flexibility for 2 seasons, entrenching a simplicity that we still suffer from.
I'd happily take the right coach over Frank, but I cannot be arsed to keep hitting refresh, hoping the next one is the one and we didn't just fuck over a better chance. But We'll find out either way by Easter, I reckon.
We’re very close to it right now. Somehow staying above the froth.
