I have a cunning plan....

We give Rodders a ridiculously hair-gelled barnet and get him to speak in a sing-song Flemish accent, claiming a miraculous recovery if necessary. After 70+ minutes he feigns a similar injury to Toby's and gets stretchered off. In the changing rooms, Toby is waiting on the treatment table.

They're Bulgarians for god's sake, they'll never realise
Get Steve McLaren in to coach ‘doing a good foreign accent!’

Interested to see what happens at CB here with Sanchez probably auditioning for a spot beside Dier on Sunday. If he can have a composed game I'd expect him to play vs Chelsea.
Sorry mate I don’t want Sanchez anywhere near our defence on Sunday
Can’t trust him
Sooner have Davies

How does that work points wise. We're on 9?
Rules are pretty clear -

Clubs are obligated to play if they have 10 or more cases but are still able to field a 13-man roster (including a goalie).

If clubs do not have 13 or more players, it will be permissible to find more players not mentioned on the submitted roster to start the season for both the Euro League and Champions’ League.

If they fail to find 13 then they will forfeit the match and lose 3-0.
Literally the page before

Hope this is crap, and on balance it looks like it could be given the UEFA rules.

The Ludogorets game is vital in more ways than one.

Firstly it's a perfect opportunity to keep a winning run on the go.

Second, and maybe even more importantly it will be useful to get good minutes in for players like Bale, Lo Celso, Sid and one or two others.

As alluded to by others there should not br be any real need for guys like Kane, Son and Dier to play unless we somehow make a complete cunt of the game and need to bring them on.

Agree perfect scenario would be a weakened ludo to get some minutes for those that need it without stressing the others

caveat ; there’s no risk of Covid etc

Didn't Lampard say we should not complain about tough schedule? Or make an excuse for it? Something in that line. Anyway how did the he know? Lol

If they can scrape up the minimum 13 players what are the chances that at least some of them test positive on Friday. We dodged a bullet in the first match just two weeks ago when a whole bunch of them tested positive. Sounds too risky if it’s that rife in the club.
