I have a question about all this “blood youngsters” in Europa stuff:

If we drop important points by rotating kids in are we then going to pivot to “why didn’t we take the Europa seriously” and instantly deciding all the youngsters are shit?
It’s a league so you don’t have as much jeopardy and can still qualify with a few losses

Chelsea only in the qualifiers for the conference….
Ha ha ha ha. Cockknockers!!!’

Play off round - would have been fun for Chelsea to be in first qualifying round (draw 18 June, matches on 11th and 18th July) but alas no !

Play offs draw 5 August with matches on 22 August and 29 August which are at least after PL has started.

I bet they don’t struggle past pacos de Ferreira like we did, or whoever they get.

We should be top 8 in new europa 36 team group stage abd get straight through to last 16. We can win it. Not sure where final is but will go to it if we get to final.

We are in Pot 1, very definitely in top 8 seeds in the draw.

Final on 21 May in Bilbao - San Mames Stadium, capacity 53,331 so tickets might be an issue to get hold of, given UEFA usually want 50,000 themselves !

Also means Newcastle out of europe.

Still 8 games to secure a place in the knockouts
We won't get in the top 8 with the attitude of using the matches to play youngsters. It will still bite us in the arse like taking a lackadaisical attitude in the group stage has before.

There will still be tougher league draws and easier league draws. Some clubs will draw the weakest teams in pot 1 and 2 and cake walk the league with near perfect records. The top 8 clubs will probably have only a scant few dropped points between them.

If we don't take league matches seriously, we're liable to be faced with a serious home/away playoff thrown in the middle of the busy holiday fixture season when you know the PL will throw us Chelsea and Liverpool and it'll all go tits up.

Play kids in the LC. We need to be putting a marker down early in the EL.

Rather than being terrified of playing hungry and hard working kids, we need to shine a light on the fucking cunts involved in the first team squad that absolutely kill us year after year when involved

Royal
Sess
Davies
PEH
GLC
Gill

Not good enough for the PL, LC or EL

WANK WANK WANK

Much rather see Donley come in for a Europa game than hunchback Royal laughing at himself or GLC playing ten mins before picking up a strained cunt

Hope we go for this with some intent, had no real preference for who won yesterday but looking at a poor Utd team win the cup they just seem to be a club that can win things even when their league form is poor .I wish we could develop that winning mentality because I have little doubt we would have lost that final yesterday whichever team we faced .

Wouldn't it be nice to just win the thing in the season following our 40th Anniversary of winning it in '84.

I've heard numerous stories, and comments, that - other than those who went to Ajax, or were at Wembley for the SF in 1991, was the single best atmosphere supporting Spurs in their lifetime ...
.that can be OURS again next May!

IF we take it seriously!!!
